OK...yesterday the boys suffered from cabin fever...today it's me.
I'm losing my friggin MIND here people...and so are Ethan & Owen...if they ask me one more time for their lollipops - which I clearly stated will be given out at the end of the day once I have determined everyone has been good - I'm going to put their ring pops on the ground and step on them.
I wouldn't but still...its a good threat.
So I drew Ethan and Owen another set of superheroes...
Ethan this time wanted "stwetchin" powers so his guy is called Elastic-E...I'm very proud of this one...
Owen wanted to be like Batman...so he got Bat-Owen...which I'm not proud of but what would you have called him?
Exactly.
After Owen got his he messed up while coloring and decided that instead of just saying he messed up he'd break down and cry...That doesn't work on me...I told him when he finished crying and wanted to talk we could discuss a new drawing.
Eventually, he stops and I explain how I don't do the crying business so if theres a problem and it doesn't involve blood, pain, or anything serious then just come talk to me...He seems to understand.
I draw him a new Batman. This one complete with a cityscape in the background. One of the buildings even had a satellite on it. Sometimes, my ADD takes over and I go NUTS with these pictures...
As a way to keep it fair I decided to read to Summer...She's upstairs in her pillow throne, maxing & relaxing like the pint-sized diva she is...She asks me to read her a story about a guy...I don't follow so she grabs the book herself.
"First Steps to Jesus"
Oh. Sweet.
The story Summer wanted was called "Learning the Bible" and its about a page long...The story, when boiled down, basically talks about how Mary and Joseph would read him the Bible and later in life, he would go to the synagogue and learn more about the Bible...On Saturdays, he would talk about God with other people and then talk to God in prayer...Apparently, he loved this...
Now, I'm not super strong on Bible knowledge...but doesn't Jesus play a pretty big role in that book? No wonder he liked reading it...
