Day 29 - Are You EFFING kidding me?

So, as some of you more astute readers may have noticed, I haven't posted in a while. Three hours if we're being exact...

I have a perfectly good reason for this.

As for the past 2 hours I was in the process of being detained by the Henrico PD...

Now, in their defense, they were doing their job and promptly weighed the available facts and made the appropriate call...However, some people in this world are insane. Like, way past crazy insane.

So, seeing as how today had been a fairly boring day, myself and the kids were a bit restless...Thankfully, there is a nice shopping mall nearby which I decided could make provide a decent afternoon's worth of entertainment/child abduction prevention practice.

After a while of playing that resulted in nothing interesting to note, I decided it was time to go...The coworkers apparently did not agree.

Naturally, they took a stand as a unit and proceeded to strike against management.

Now, I understand that to the untrained eye seeing a 25 year old guy standing 2 feet away from 3 little kids gesturing to them to get over to him and pleading with them you may also wonder what was going on...

However, the average person would probably be logical and not immediately assume I was a pedophile and cause a scene...

Right?

WRONG. Well, unless you're me in which case - awkward.

So after having this woman throw a fit, having mall cops approach me, have them approach the kids, have them separate us - freaking the kids out - and then talking to me long enough for the Henrico PD to show up...

All in all, it was the most ridiculous f*cking experience of my life.

Luckily, we're all home and I'm not in jail getting abused like, well, a pedophile should get abused...

Guess what: We're upping that order of 2 chocolate milks and 1 strawberry to 3 chocolate milks and a strawberry...I need to calm the nerves down...
