So, after I dropped that April Fools joke on you, Karma paid me a little visit in the form of my sisters dog defecating on the floor...So while the kids were at school I went home to shower and got WAY more than I bargained for.
Regardless, I wasn't about to take this out on the kids - That's not how I roll...
After I grabbed the kids from school and watched Ethan mouth kiss his teacher not once, not twice, but three times (buckling her knees) we took off...
I decided - on a whim - to take the kids to Blockbuster and, because I'm a lazy individual with a horrible diet, I figured we'd grab some Little Caesar's to take home...
Blockbusters pretty much went as planned. Summer picked a new movie every time we moved into a new section of movies...Owen tried to grab one of those Anime movies that Japanese teenagers and creepy old guys are into...I tried to convince him it wasn't what he thought it was...
"Yeah, but Victor I want this one"
"Yeah, but its in Chinese"
"(Chuckles) Chinese is food Victor"
Regardless, it became a moot point when he found the X-Men evolution section...Both he and Ethan decided on a different X-Men flick so we have one about Wolverine and another one about I don't even know what...I hope it's about Jean Grey because everyone else has a cool name (Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, etc) and then there's poor Jean Grey...I keep wondering if her real name is something so outrageously cool that Professor X flipped the script on her just to keep her ego in check...
Anyways, while there each of them is always looking for an angle...Summer had probably the best attempt at scoring two movies yet...
She comes up to me and this is the conversation that followed:
"B-B-Bictor...Hey Bictor...Are you gonna get a movie?"
"Uhh maybe I haven't decided..."
"Well, B-B-Bictor...I tink you should get dis one"
At that moment she hands me Thumbelina...
"Ahhh yeah Im going to pass on that movie but thanks smelly"
