Day 51 - Garrett's Recap

Hey Friends,

So last night I went and saw Garrett perform an acoustic set with the singer of his band, Eli.

I'm not going to lie, I barely paid attention to them. Not that they didn't sound good. They did.

However, the Bulls-Celtics Game 6 was on and it went from "this is a great game" to "HOLY MOLY this is incredible!" right around the point Rajon Rondo tried to discuss throw Kirk Hinrich into the scorers table...

So, I can't really give you a great recap of their performance...It sounded like them though. And it looked like them too...Which was good.

However, I want to address a situation...I realize I was at a Fire person's bar and they get to play by different rules but there is NO reason a little 6 year old girl who looks like she should have starred in Children of the Corn should be just casually gallivanting about the bar. I personally found it alarming. But I stepped it up a notch when someone told me she left and I thought they meant alone and I kinda freaked out...

Clearly, this job is getting to me...

[by the way this bar was crazy and completely decked out in Firefighting stuff including a framed poster for Backdraft which won me over IMMEDIATELY...I also took a shot just so they would play a siren and then immediately regretted the idea.]

Anyway the rest of the night was anticlimactic however this morning has been eventful because I forgot Ethan had a doctors appointment and they had to call me...So that was embarrassing.

Now, I'm going to pick him up and we're going to my grandmother's place to eat some Picadillo.
