Day 52 - "Mo (Play) Doh, Mo Problems"

Hey there buddy!

Big morning.

Not really though.

We've just been hanging out...I enjoyed a little "Mike & Mike" on ESPN while the kids played...I'm not really sure what they were pretending to do but it involved stacking up all their toys and stuffed animals in what I would describe as an audience. If there was an ensuing performance I did not see it as I was once again listening to speculation concerning Brett Favre. I can't stand him anymore. To the point that if I were to ever consider buying Wrangler Jeans I would immediately rule that brand out because of their affiliation with him. However, I still liked him in There's Something About Mary.

For the last half hour or so we've been playing with Play-Doh which is fun AND frustrating. For starters, all I really do is roll the stuff out into a big flat pizza shaped thing because I have no idea what else to do. Inevitably, the kids just ask me to do the same so I'm sitting there rolling out dough the whole time. Not fun. Plus, I have this thing with keeping the colors pure and the kids like to mix it all up.

After I succumbed to the idea that the Play-Doh would end up mixed no matter what, I made an effort to make things interesting by blowing their minds...Which I accomplished by mixing Red and White for Summer...making Pink which was a huge hit.

I followed that trickery & tomfoolery up with a little wacky thing called "Blue + Yellow = Green" which really sent Ethan into a tizzy (Side Note: Did I really just say tizzy? I would change this but the fact my first instinct was to say tizzy makes me think it should stay and so it will)...

Since we had Play-Doh in Red, Yellow, White, and Blue the only other color we could mix & make was Carolina Blue...So we did...

(Did I mention my little sister Ana is going to UNC-Chapel Hill next year? If I haven't I'd like to send her a big blog high five for that...)

Anyway, now they're cleaning up and I'm making some early lunches because we have some things to do later.

And I'll be back...
